‘Paranormal Activity 3’ Pre-Screening Turns Out a Screamfest for Fans

As reported by MTV, the New York pre-screening of ‘Paranormal Activity 3’ was a  huge Screamfest for fans.

I was just thinking that they are having so many other scary events in New York that the natural reaction would be to scream at anything.  Anyways, in this third installment soon to be released on October 21st, 2011, we go back to the beginning of where the story truly begins 18 years ago.  In 1988, young sisters Katie and Kristi encounter an invisible entity haunting their home which appears to be friendly at first.  The entity gradually becomes hostile and torments the young girls and their family.  A scene near the start of the film features Katie bringing over a box of video tapes to the home of her sister Kristi.  After leaving Kristi’s home, Katie starts to sort through some of the tapes, being filmed by her husband Daniel.

16 critics at Rotten Tomatoes  have given the film a 7 out of 10.

Conan May See Star Rise

Conan the Barbarian is a reimagination of the Conan mythology unlike the films featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger. The film is based on the character Conan the Barbarian created by Robert E. Howard. It stars Jason Momoa in the primary role. Additional actors include Rose McGowan, Stephen Lang, Ron Perlman, Bob Sapp and Rachel Nichols.

We first laid sight on Jason Momoa as he was introduced to us through Baywatch in 2001. As the character, Ronon Dex in Stargate: Atlantis (2009), he has made a lasting impression on many viewers in TV land.

Now, we move onto the big screen. In this legendary role, we may see Jason’s star rise astronomically or it may just be a falling comet. We will soon find out as the upcoming 3-D sword and sorcery film will be released in this month of August.
